KUMASI DIGITAL JOBS FAIR-2022

Kumasi Hive on the 23rd of March 2022 organized its 3rd Regional Jobs Fair under the Pathway for Sustainable Employment (PaSE) at KNUST MasterCard Building adjacent to Africa Hall with the theme “Capitalizing Job Creation Through Mobile App Development. Kumasi Hive partnered with the MasterCard Foundation on this year’s Job Fair. The Jobs Fair which falls under the numerous activities under the project seeks to connect job seekers with potential recruiting organizations or companies for job opportunities after their intensive training in some selected Digital Skills and have gone through internship and incubation.

The event had in attendance organizations including Solar Taxi Ghana, Talents Human Capital, Mimidarf Consult, Oiline Energies, MTN Ghana, Fintech, Small Start Global, OZE App, Shanti Jewelry, Make Jewel Lab, amongst others who came out to interact with the attendees and better position them for the job market.

The attendees were taken through sessions by Mimidarf Consult, and Talents Human Capital about the most sought-after jobs, how to prepare their CVs to attract the right jobs, CV reviewing, but to mention a few while sharing their personal experiences with them.

The attendees who came from far and near were given the platform to ask questions, make inputs, suggest other things, and discuss some of the most challenging interviews they have ever had and how it was.

At the end of the retreat, there was a networking and CV reviewing session that allowed attendees to communicate and engage the organizations present at the fair while building mutually beneficial relationships with them.

The team from Kumasi Hive was excited to know that most attendees and companies available were fulfilled to be a part of this event.
