Kumasi Hive Organizes its 2nd Jobs Fair.

From time immemorial, we have heard people complain about the systems failing to provide or support them identify Job opportunities within the Country. The unemployment rate in Ghana is expected to reach 4.70 percent by the end of 2021, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. In the long-term, the Ghana Unemployment Rate is projected to trend around 4.50 percent in 2022 and 4.30 percent in 2023, according to our econometric models. For this reason, Kumasi Hive in partnership with the Ghana Tech Lab under the Pathway for Sustainable Employment (PaSE) Project, organized its second edition of the Jobs Fair in Kumasi at the CLOGSAG Center, Adum. The fair had in attendance all types of people including unemployed graduates, employed graduates who are looking for better jobs to improve on their skills, students, organizations who are looking at employing individuals with the skills set they are looking for, among others.

In attendance of organizations present for the Jobs Fair are MATLAB Technologies Solutions, Mimidarf Consult, Talent Human Capital, Dext Technology, Timeless Creations, Green Afro Palms, Pause and Chops, SAYeTECH Company Limited, and Tertiary Link a startup from Kumasi Hive. The organizations presented to the attendees the various opportunities they had at their organizations and how they can apply to be considered for the roles.

There was a Panel Discussion led by Madam Emmanuella Appiah who took the panelists through some mind-boggling interactions on the fast pace of Digital Media and whether it has come to stay amidst the various challenges and opportunities associated with it. Aside from that, the attendees were also taken through a Masterclass session on LinkedIn which was facilitated by Mr. Emmanuel Agyapong, a career expert and founder of Talent Human Capital who took them through how to build a great professional online presence on LinkedIn.
